Cat Comforts
Everything is supplied for your cats comfort, beds, vet bedding, food, bowls, drinking water, litter tray and importantly toys. Should you wish you are welcome to bring beds, blankets and toys to help your cat feel at home. All cats are regularly groomed and every effort will be made to help them settle in.
If needed medication will be administered as required.
Accommodation
A clean healthy environment is provided for all. Each cat has its own self contained heated chalet and large sheltered run. Sneeze barriers between the runs guard against the spreading of infection.
Insurance
The daily charge includes comprehensive veterinary insurance which covers possible accidents. Any condition prior to boarding is excluded. In the event of illness your own veterinary surgeon will be contacted and if not available our own vet will be consulted and is available on 24 hour call.
Diet
Each cat is fed twice daily (three times for kittens) on their normal home diet.
Southwinds also caters for special diets along with any other individual requirement.
Vaccinations
No cat may be admitted without proof of current cover against feline enteritis and feline influenza. Remember these vaccinations must be updated annually otherwise the course of vaccinations must be commence again. We also recommend vaccination against feline leukaemia. Please ensure that you bring your vaccination certificate with you each time.
